L\u2019analyse multicanale des ondes de surface (MASW) est une m\u00e9thode sismique qui permet de calculer la vitesse d\u2019onde de cisaillement des mati\u00e8res composant la subsurface gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s dispersives du \u00ab rouleau de fond \u00bb des ondes de surface Scholte (Park et coll., 2005).<\/p>\n<p>On classe les tests AMOS (MASW) dans la cat\u00e9gorie des m\u00e9thodes \u00ab actives \u00bb puisque le signal est \u00e9mis \u00e0 un endroit et \u00e0 un moment connus dans l\u2019axe d\u2019expansion de l\u2019hydrophone. Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la dispersion se mesurent par les \u00e9carts de vitesses de phases en lien avec la fr\u00e9quence. L\u2019\u00e9nergie de l\u2019onde de surface conna\u00eetra une d\u00e9croissance exponentielle avec la profondeur.<\/p>\n<p>Les ondes de surface \u00e0 basse fr\u00e9quence voyageront plus loin et seront par cons\u00e9quent plus influenc\u00e9es par la vitesse des couches basses que par les ondes d\u2019eau peu profonde \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence.
